and so, the first week of summer ends with my 100th post.
Highly successful, I must say.
Monday: too far away to recall.
Tuesday: on the town, listening to great tunes, and making friendships stronger.
Wednesday, and Thursday: business plans with Blythe, and the start of a [potentially] rich-making summer. Also, randomly showing up on friend's doorsteps and watching funny YouTube videos.
Friday: stalking strangers with fabulous people, getting calls from delicious concert-goers, and balloon-splatter painting ventures.
Saturday: Doritos and lemonade in the cemetary with the best friend, and partying it up birthday-style.
Sunday: incredible yellow sky, post-apocolyptic driving, musical chats, Shakespeare memories, journal writing, and a good book.
New music, too. A lot.
And new perspective.
Highly successful indeed.

and this is how I feel sometimes.
Sometimes like today.
It rained; the sun hid its head, and foolishness got the better of me again, even though I specifically banished it from myself.
Summer rules, but I miss my social life already.

and this what I love
Having picnics at my neighborhood park with best friends.
Falling asleep in the grass, lounging in the sun on a giant quilt.
Driving around with my best friend/brother and taking crazy pictures.
Watching fun TV shows with the girls.
Making the right decision.
Talking and chatting until really late and then racing home to beat curfew.
Sleeping in until 10:30.
Looking out the window at the perfect weather.

and the week goes on.
I don't really know why this week has been so excellent.
Maybe
it's the sun.
Only it rained yesterday, so that's probably not the only reason.
Maybe
it's my family.
Yeah, definitely a huge part of it.
Maybe
it's my best friends.
The other huge part.
Things are looking up?
Yes.
It's perfect.
End.

and whom do you prefer?
On saturday I went to preference.
it was quite enjoyable. We made masks for the day date (the theme was masqerade) and then watched wait until dark, only one of the best movies of all time. We ate a fabulous dinner at my grandparent's beautiful house, then danced ourselves silly. I had the time of my life.
